Dr. Samir Vakil, DPM, is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, currently residing in Punta Gorda, and practicing as a podiatric physician and surgeon in Port Charlotte.
He received his BS in Microbiology at the University of Florida, and both his MS in Biomedical Sciences and his DPM at Barry University. He had the opportunity of serving as President for the Florida Podiatric Medical Association in 2012, and is currently serving the same position this year, in addition to being on the Executive Committee of the Florida Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Foundation’s Board of Directors as the Director-at-large.
During his free time, Dr. Vakil greatly enjoys traveling and hiking in the mountains.
